Welcome to Englefield Club

Englefield Deer Ale
Englefield Social Club, established 1884, within the grounds of the Englefield Estate, is a friendly CIU club, serving the local community and surrounding areas.
We aim to provide the best service and the finest selection of drinks you could want.
We also have our own Real Ale,Englefield Deer Ale,seen being poured by our manager,
Ian Southall, a Fellow of the British Institute of Innkeeping.
We open Monday to Saturday 7.30pm to 11.00pm
and Sunday 12.00noon to 2.00pm and 7.30pm to 10.30pm.

This room is named in honour of John 'JR' Robbins,
Committee Member 1988 to 1991,
Club Chairman, 1992 to 2007.

Named after the late Bob Orchard, who hand built it,
this is where you can buy a refreshing drink,
including our own real ale, Englefield Deer Ale.

 

Comfortable seating, live Sky TV sports and fruit machines, with up to £250 prizes ensure your evening will be enjoyable.

Main RoomMain Room

Our main function room is used for all our entertainments, including our monthly Bingo, which is usually the first Saturday of the month. See what entertainment we have coming soon.

This room is also available for our members to hire for private parties

This room is also used by our darts teams, who play in various local leagues, new players always welcome.

Snooker

2 Full sized snooker tables are found in a separate room, and our snooker teams play in local leagues.

We are regularly visited by the Englefield Cricket Club, and welcome their players and supporters after matches.
Meeting Room

Meeting Room

A private meeting room, The Butler Room, named in honour of Harold Butler, Club Secretary, 1981 to 1986, is available for hire, and many local groups take advantage of our competitive rates.

Various room layouts can be set up for you to suit your meeting.
